This is the second last picture I'll post from the zoo. I wonked with the white balance in C1 very slightly to get the nice palatte here, but there were no saturation increases. That's how I do most of my colour-correction actually...I don't bother with colour editing in photoshop that much. Fiddling with the white balance is more ham-handed I guess, but I feel like selective colour editing never winds up looking real. Plus I like the controls in C1 Pro.

A particular mix of colour is never something I strive for in my photos anyway...when it does happen, it's a surprise to me. I don't know if that's a lack of visual sophistication on my part or if it's related to my colourblindness. Only very rarely will I try to make minor colour edits in post.
